LEARN TO SIT DOWN

Achieving success at the end of a journey starts at the beginning. Life's pursuits often begin with high hopes and expectations, but before you start running, it's wise to sit down and reflect.

Luke 14: 28-29

"For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it—lest, after he has laid the foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, 'This man began to build and was not able to finish.'"

WHAT ARE YOU SITTING FOR?

1. Sit down to plan :Planning is crucial. If you don't plan, you plan to fail. Whether it's your life or business, take the time to plan thoroughly. This includes working on your marriage or relationship. Remember, prayers cannot replace the process of sitting down to plan.

2. Sit down to study: Read necessary books or materials that will help you achieve your goals in life.

3. Sit down to read the Word of God :Engage with scripture and listen to uplifting messages.

4. Sit down to listen to wise counsel: Seek and heed advice and instructions from those with wisdom.

5. Sit down to learn :Develop new skills, trades, or talents.

6. Sit down to set goals. :Establish spiritual, financial, and career goals and pursuits.

7. Sit down to review :Reflect on the activities of the past year. Identify what to drop, minimize, or focus more energy on.

8. Sit down to evaluate relationships :Determine which friends to keep and which to let go.

The only way to avoid a life of mockery, regret, and failure is to sit down and consider these aspects. Many rush into pursuits without sitting down first, leading to abundant failure.

**Note if you take the time to sit down well today, when you stand, people will notice your rising.
