Character is the aggregate of features and traits that form the individual nature of some person.

A person's Moral or ethical quality.

Character is the outward expression of our choices.

Jesus is the ultimate example of godly character.

Gen 39: 1-15

THINGS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT CHARACTER.

1. Character is more than talk ( anyone can say they have integrity but action is a true indicator).

Your character is determined by what you do, not what you say.

Your character determines who you are.

James 2:18 ( but someone will say "you have faith, and I love works. "Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

2. Talent is a gift, but character is a choice.

There are alot of things in our life that we don’t have control over. We don't get to pick our parents, our talents, our IQ but we do choose our character.

Deutronomy 30:19 - "I call heaven and earth as witness today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life, that both you and your descendent may live.

3. Character brings lasting success with people.

People do not trust those who have flawed characters.

Good character will open up doors for lasting relationship with those around you.

4. People cannot rise above the limitation of their character.

Have you ever seen highly talented people fall apart when they reach a certain level of success?

Success without a good foundation of character is bound for failure.
