Sometimes, the difference between the clothes hanging in a wardrobe and the rag lying on the ground is not quality—it is value and placement.
The rag may not be bad; it is simply not being valued.
Never spend too much time where you are not valued. No matter how kind, gifted, loyal, or helpful you are, your worth will go unnoticed in the wrong environment. But in the right place, the very things that are ignored by some will be celebrated by others.
At times, your absence reveals your importance more than your presence. Give people some time and space, and they may come to appreciate what they once took for granted.
Always examine your value system. Know your worth, appreciate what God has placed inside you, and don’t remain where your value is consistently disregarded.
Go where you are valued, not merely where you are tolerated.
