EXCLUSIVELY FOR LEADERS

Dear Leader,

You must understand that rebels often connect easily with other rebels. When someone takes offense at an organization, they naturally gravitate toward others who share the same offense. When all their close associates are disgruntled people, and all they do is find faults, criticize, and complain without acknowledging anything good happening within the organization, it is a sign of a rebellious spirit. The Bible likens rebellion to the sin of witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23).

One of the wisest things you can do is to disconnect from such people in your heart to the point where their actions no longer disturb, influence, or worry you, because no matter how much good you do, it will never be enough for them. Therefore, focus on doing what is right and leave the rest to God. Some may still pretend to support you while secretly working against your leadership. They often know what is right but deliberately choose to do otherwise.

At times, you may still permit them to remain within the organization, just as Jesus allowed Judas to remain among the twelve. However, you must identify them, remain watchful, and exercise discernment in dealing with them. Sensitivity to the Spirit is key. Never commit yourself completely to people, for the Bible says that Jesus, knowing what was in man, did not entrust Himself to them (John 2:24–25).

Some tares in an organization may continue to grow alongside the wheat for a season, but a wise leader recognizes the difference, remains vigilant, and refuses to be distracted by their activities.

I love and celebrate you.
